AMERICAN STUDIES CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Participation Requirements of the Program
All undergraduate students in Humanities and Social Sciences can participate in the American Studies Certificate Program. Students can register in this program in their third or fourth semesters. A GPA of 2.5 is required for eligibility to the program. There are no prerequisites for the required courses of the program.
The program consists of a required orientation course and four other courses to be selected from the list of courses offered, as well as a thesis to be defended before a jury of three faculty members from different disciplines.
The students are expected to complete other requirements during the course of their undergraduate studies.
